UTHSC Chemical Pickup Request

Instructions for Pickup Request

• Please enter in (UTHSC) University of Texas Health Science Center under Campus, Building, or Outdoor Location field.

• Choose Waste Accumulation under Floor or Area

• Please list the Building and room number where chemicals are located for pick-up under Additional Location Details field.

• Under Container Type Description enter the size of the container and whether it is plastic or glass. Example: 1 gallon plastic bottle

• Enter Contents of container and percentage (if known) of each chemical contained inside.

• If known, please check the box that describes whether the contents are Ignitable, Corrosive, Reactive, or Toxic, if any.

• If you have multiple containers to submit, please press the Add Another Container box and repeat the process until all containers have been entered, then press the Submit Pickup Request button and EH&S will be notified. Your request will be scheduled to have the waste moved to our on-site accumulation area until a transporter can move it to a waste disposal facility.

Don't worry! If you have a lot of waste to submit, you don't have to do it all at once. When you get to a stopping point, you can go ahead and submit, and start a new request when you are ready to add more later.
